Project Manager

Location: Chicago, IL

Salary: $120k-160k base salary

A well-established commercial general contractor in the Chicago area is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its growing team. Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, and project financials
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates
• Work closely with the Superintendent to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
• Manage subcontractor procurement and contract administration
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience
• Previous experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor
• Experience managing commercial projects throughout the Chicagoland area preferred
• Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, contracts, and project documentation
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
