Project Manager – Chicago, IL Area

Up to $115K + Bonus Eligibility

Join a privately held company with 100+ years of history as a Project Manager supporting custom-engineered equipment projects from quotation through installation and completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from order entry through closeout
• Support outside sales with proposals, pricing, scopes, and technical information
• Coordinate sales, engineering, purchasing, fabrication, vendors, subcontractors, and customers
• Develop schedules, track materials and long-lead items, and monitor project costs
• Coordinate engineering approvals, installation schedules, site requirements, and project closeout
• Identify and resolve technical, scheduling, cost, and supply-chain issues

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management, project coordination, estimating, construction, engineering support, or related industrial experience
• Experience with material handling equipment, industrial equipment, overhead cranes, hoists, fabrication, structural steel, electrical, or mechanical systems is REQUIRED
• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment specifications
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project/ERP software
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed
