Reputable, manufacturing company that has been in business for more than 75 years, is searching for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their dynamic team.

  • Maintain the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance and improvement.
  • Update procedures and work instructions regularly.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
  • Oversee the QA Documentation team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Deliver training on quality standards and perform root cause analysis.
  • Help develop training so employees meet quality standards.
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Manage documentation and records related to quality processes.
  • Handle customer quality requirements.
  • Respond to customer complaints with structured problem-solving (e.g., 8D, 2D)
  • Ensure compliance with requirements (e.g., Nadcap, DFARS, etc.)
  • Monitor incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes.
  • Authorize product release and oversee handling of nonconformance material.
  • Drive root cause analysis and enact corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and measurement tools.
  • Analyze data on quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to management.


Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in manufacturing quality, metals or aerospace a plus.
  • 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Conflict resolution and coaching skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, process mapping, and learning new quality systems.
  • Familiarity with quality standards relevant to the organization, such as ISO 9001, AS9100D, and Nadcap.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and identifying trends to make informed decisions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Diagnose root causes of quality issues and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details to identify deviations from quality standards.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Familiarity with quality management systems and tools.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous learning and contribute to process improvements.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and evolving quality requirements.


Anticipated salary for this role is up to $130,000.00

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to relevant experience, education, geography and skill set.
