Recruiter

Bauer’s is looking for an experienced, high-energy Recruiter to help us continue building exceptional teams at the local, regional, and national level.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong sense of urgency, and knows how to identify, engage, and hire great people. You’ll recruit across the organization, including executives, managers, corporate staff, drivers, dispatchers, and other operational positions.

What You’ll Do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting from job postings and sourcing through interviews and offers
• Coordinate background checks, drug testing, I-9 eligibility, and other pre-employment requirements
• Partner closely with operations and leadership on hiring needs
• Support employee relations, performance management, and HR initiatives
• Assist with training, organizational development, and onboarding
• Help improve recruiting and HR processes as the organization grows
• Serve as an ambassador for Bauer’s culture and communicate why talented people should join our team

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of recruiting experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
• Self-motivated and comfortable working with a high degree of urgency
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in transportation and SPAB is preferred
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations is required
• Degree or equivalent professional experience
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
