Full job description
We are seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to provide temporary recruiting support to our Talent Acquisition team. This individual will independently manage assigned recruiting priorities and partner with hiring leaders to attract, identify, and engage qualified talent across the organization.
The ideal contractor is a strong sourcer who can quickly build candidate pipelines, manage multiple requisitions, communicate effectively with hiring teams, and use recruiting data to adjust strategy and drive results.
What You’ll Do
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, candidate evaluation, and offer support.
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, community partnerships, and direct outreach.
- Build and maintain qualified candidate pipelines for priority and hard-to-fill positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, competencies, hiring priorities, and candidate profiles.
- Provide hiring teams with market and candidate-pipeline insights and recommendations.
- Maintain timely and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition activity within One Hope United’s Applicant Tracking System.
- Track recruiting activity and outcomes, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire, pipeline activity, source effectiveness, interviews, and offers.
- Use recruiting data to identify sourcing opportunities and adjust recruiting strategies.
- Participate in recruiting outreach activities, hiring events, or other talent initiatives as needed.
- Ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable employment requirements and One Hope United hiring standards.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment and proactively sourcing candidates.
- Experience recruiting within nonprofit, social services, healthcare, behavioral health, education, or other high-volume environments is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open positions and changing priorities.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting technology.

- Strong sourcing and candidate-engagement skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organization and follow-through.
- Ability to independently prioritize recruiting assignments and deliverables.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with hiring managers and organizational leaders.
- Comfortable using recruiting metrics and pipeline data to inform decisions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems.
Contractor Engagement
This opportunity is structured as an independent contractor engagement rather than a regular
One Hope United employee position.
One Hope United will select the contractor directly. The selected individual will complete the contractor agreement and onboarding process through Deel, One Hope United’s contractor management partner. Deel will facilitate the contractual onboarding and payment administration associated with the engagement.
Specific engagement terms, compensation, duration, and payment arrangements will be communicated to the selected contractor as part of the contracting and onboarding process.
