Job Title: Regional Programme Lead

Duration: 6-12 months contract (Possibility of Extension)

Location: Wayne, NJ 07470 (Hybrid) 3 days onsite

Pay: $90-112/hr on W2 without any benefits/holiday/vacation

This Regional Programme Lead reports to the Global Programme Manager. This team is responsible for setting up and running the global procurement programmes including the Global Travel Programme, Global Contingent Labour Programme, Global Corporate Card Programme in collaboration with the Managed Service Providers, Procurement Category Managers and stakeholders to deliver a positive user experience through effective programme management, user support & training, communication and the successful implementation of key supply contracts.

The global programme team works across all functions, segments and geographies providing a unique ability to impact the business globally through driving change and building strong, trusting relationships with internal business stakeholders.

The post holder will have previous knowledge and experience of managing travel, meetings & events and contingent labour programmes including strong stakeholder management and communication skills, effective supplier management together with a track record for taking ownership of identified opportunities/ challenges.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Manage day to day operations of the global programmes in the responsible region, including direct oversight of the managed service providers (MSP) to drive a good user experience.

· Act as SME to work with MSP to expand/enhance global programmes to new country and business unit.

· Identify opportunities to improve operations and processes through strategic performance reviews and develop plan to prioritize improvement and innovative initiatives.

· Support delivery of business and functional strategies through advising, educating and influencing on a wide range of programme deliverables.

· Provide proactive support to end users through providing quick resolution to end to end programme queries encompassing processes, strategies, systems and the organization.

· Develop and deploy programme management training and awareness sessions supporting existing needs and new initiatives.

· Build strong internal stakeholder relationships through supporting cross functional teams that address and resolve complex issues.

· Monitor and measure effectiveness of day-to-day managed performance, interfacing back to Castrol’s internal businesses and stakeholders.

· Required participation to deliver a 24/7 coverage to manage to conclusion, any incidents impacting Castrol employees.

Requires adherence to HSSE policies, Incident Management Plans and direction provided by Group Crisis & Continuity Management, Security/Group Health and on the ground Incident Management teams.

Team intergration: Helps to create and embraces a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement in their team, the business users and relevant procurement teams. Develops their technical skills and helps represent the interests of their region / site / asset across procurement and the broader organization.

· Collaborates across procurement, with the business and, where appropriate, with suppliers to create a ‘one team’ mentality · Builds region / site / asset knowledge across the wider procurement organization to ensure delivery of their objectives

· Develops their technical capabilities and accelerator skills

Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Uses storytelling to communicate with users and business partners, respectfully challenging to achieve the right outcomes, resolving conflict and focusing on priorities.

· Influences through complexity and ambiguity, managing virtual relationships with stakeholders in multi-discipline, multi-cultural environments

· Builds good stakeholder relationships, bringing market insights and championing supplier value whilst taking time to understand business needs. Becomes a trusted advisor and critical partner to stakeholders

· Builds relationships with main stakeholders and superusers globally, understanding stakeholder feedback and proactively working to build procurements reputation and ROI · Maintains close connectivity across procurement teams ensuring appropriate prioritization and resourcing Transformation and Change Management: Assists in the delivery of modernization & transformation activities, leading optimization of regional procurement delivery, and creating incremental value, aligned to the broader procurement and business

transformation agendas.

· Work with business partners to leverages digital solutions to drive innovation, enhancing efficiency, effectiveness and value creation

· Partners with internal discipline teams to drive category excellence

· Use influencing, storytelling and communication to encourage adoption

· Helps deliver modernization & transformation activities and optimization of regional procurement delivery aligned to the broader procurement and business transformation agendas


ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

· An undergraduate degree (ideally in procurement or business) or equivalent experience

· Minimum 6 years-experience in a global contingent labor or travel programme management role.


ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Functional knowledge: Must be adept at developing and maintaining business context including an understanding of strategic direction, priorities, stakeholders, and strategy.


· Strong process knowledge.

· Skilled in designing user-centric processes.

· Experience in delivering communication and change management plans and campaigns.

· Experience of working cross culturally and in an international environment

· Engaging and collaborative way of working

· Resilient and experienced in working in multi-faceted environment

· Proven experience in working through crisis situations (i.e. evacuations, locating travelers during an emergency incident, provide clear guidance and communication to employees impacted in an event, recovery to business-as-usual state).

Problem solving: The ability to assist in partnering with the business to develop innovative solutions, clearing blockers and enabling delivery. Helps translate business requirements into a demand plan.

· Embraces industry challenges and technological disruption, pioneers innovative solutions whilst managing risk

· Brings multiple parties (procurement, business, suppliers) together to collaboratively solve complex problems

· Manages conflict to successful resolution while maintaining relationships with key stakeholders

· The ability to assist in evaluating innovative solutions and manage risk

· Helps translate business requirements into a strategic delivery plan, aligned with the categories, to inform strategic decisions


Interpersonal skills: The role demands good people skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.

· Good stakeholder networking and influencing skills to ensure buy in and adoption, building a reputation as a partner to the regions / sites / assets

· Ability to communicate and influence across different levels in the organization

· Experience in regular interaction with external suppliers preferred

· Effective change management is key, requiring influencing, engagement and storytelling abilities

· Persevering through organizational complexity and resistance to change, key to leading transformational change


DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

· Familiar with contingent labor vendor management system (VMS) e.g. Fieldglass, Beeline.
