Research and Development Technician

The Research and Development Technician supports product development by building test rigs, running experiments, and documenting results. This role involves hands‑on mechanical and electrical work, troubleshooting, and clear communication to help bring new products to market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run lab tests and record accurate results.
• Build and wire test rigs with proper instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot combustion, electrical, and control system issues.
• Document findings and share with engineers and project teams.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality, service, and manufacturing teams.
• Maintain lab equipment and assist with preventive maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a technical field or 5+ years of industry experience.
• Basic electrical and controls knowledge.
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and safely.
