Company Overview

We are partnering with a large, growing hospitality and entertainment organization with a portfolio of destination properties across North America. The company continues to expand its footprint and is looking to strengthen its centralized Revenue Management team with highly analytical professionals who can use pricing, forecasting, data, and commercial strategy to drive property-level performance.

The Opportunity

The Regional Revenue Analytics Manager will own the revenue and pricing strategy for a portfolio of properties, using financial analysis, forecasting, demand trends, and predictive analytics to optimize revenue performance. This is a highly analytical commercial position rather than a traditional hospitality operations role. The team is open to candidates coming from investment-oriented analytical backgrounds, including professionals with experience in private equity, investment analysis, credit analysis, or similar roles, particularly those with strong Economics, Finance, Statistics, or quantitative academic backgrounds. The role combines pricing strategy, financial modeling, forecasting, data analysis, and commercial decision-making while providing significant interaction with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and property leadership.

  • Analyze demand patterns, booking trends, pricing, and inventory to maximize revenue
  • Adjust pricing and channel allocations based on market conditions and forecasted demand
  • Evaluate group business, displacement considerations, and pricing opportunities
  • Benchmark property performance against relevant market and industry trends

Financial Analysis & Forecasting

  • Develop weekly revenue forecasts used for commercial strategy, financial planning, and operational forecasting
  • Analyze historical results, current performance, and forward-looking trends
  • Participate in monthly P&L reviews and assess performance against prior periods
  • Support annual budgeting in partnership with Finance
  • Conduct post-performance analysis to determine the effectiveness of pricing and revenue strategies
  • Translate complex financial and operating data into actionable recommendations

Data & Predictive Analytics

  • Perform detailed analysis of booking pace, customer demand, web-search activity, and other commercial trends
  • Apply quantitative techniques to revenue-management decisions
  • Utilize concepts including unconstrained demand, regression analysis, forecasting, and pricing science
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers
  • Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing, promotions, marketing programs, and distribution strategies

Commercial Strategy

  • Develop, execute, and communicate promotional and pricing strategies
  • Analyze promotional performance and recommend adjustments
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to understand how promotional activity impacts demand and booking behavior
  • Manage pricing and yielding by market segment, rate structure, and promotion
  • Evaluate third-party distribution channels and overall channel performance

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Serve as a key revenue-management partner to property leadership
  • Lead recurring revenue-strategy discussions with senior Revenue Management and property executives
  • Partner extensively with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and General Management
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Participate in strategic projects involving technology, data science, pricing, and promotions

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Business, Hospitality, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Approximately 2+ years of analytical professional experience
  • Candidates from traditional pricing, revenue management, or predictive analytics backgrounds will be considered
  • The team is also interested in analytically strong candidates coming from areas such as:

Why This Opportunity

  • Strong transition opportunity for an Economics or Finance graduate with a few years of investment or analytical experience
  • Opportunity to apply investment-style analytical skills directly to commercial business decisions
  • Ownership of pricing and revenue strategy rather than purely supporting analysis
  • Combination of financial analysis, forecasting, pricing, predictive analytics, and strategy
  • Significant visibility with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and senior property leadership
  • Opportunity to see the direct impact of analytical recommendations on revenue and business performance
  • Exposure to technology and data-science initiatives

  • Hybrid Chicago work environment
