Scheduler - Heavy Civil Construction
Location: Corona, CA - you must already be in SoCal. NO RELOCATION.
Salary: $120,000-$160,000 + bonus and benefits
A leading heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Scheduler to support major construction projects throughout Southern California. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring CPM schedules while working closely with project management, estimating, preconstruction, and field teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CPM schedules using Primavera P6
- Support scheduling during preconstruction, estimating, and project execution
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and critical path activities
- Identify potential delays and assist with Time Impact Analyses
- Prepare schedule updates, narratives, reports, and delay analyses
- Coordinate schedule changes and impacts with project teams and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project scheduling documentation and records
- Provide scheduling guidance and technical support to project personnel
- Assist project teams with P6 training and schedule development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- 3–5+ years of heavy civil construction scheduling experience
- Strong Primavera P6 experience
- Experience with resource loading, activity coding, delay analysis, and schedule narratives
- Strong understanding of heavy civil construction, including earthwork, concrete structures, foundations, and underground utilities
- Experience working for a self-performing heavy civil contractor
- Experience on public or private infrastructure projects in Southern California
- Understanding of contract administration and scheduling requirements
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other construction scheduling tools
Additional Information
- Based out of a Corona, CA office
- This is an office-based position; remote work is not available
- Some travel to project sites may be required
- In-person interview required
