SEC and Technical Accounting Consultant

We are working on an immediate consulting opportunity with our client in Redwood City and are looking for a highly hands-on SEC/Technical Accounting Consultant to start Monday, 8/31.

This is a 3-month consulting engagement with potential to extend through January or longer based on the client’s needs.

This is an Individual Contributor role, and the consultant will be the sole resource supporting SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting. We’re looking for someone who can step in immediately, work independently, and take ownership of key SEC and technical accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K)
• Own equity-based compensation accounting and reporting
• Research accounting matters and prepare technical accounting memos
• Support SEC reporting and disclosure requirements
• Work independently as the primary SEC/Technical Accounting resource

Preferred Experience

• Strong SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting experience
• Experience independently owning 10-Q and 10-K filings
• Strong equity-based compensation experience
• Experience preparing technical accounting memos
• Active Disclosure experience is a plus
