Senior Accountant (Cost/Manufacturing)

📍 Cinnaminson, NJ (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)

💰 $80,000 – $95,000 Base Salary + 10% Bonus

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing $3bn international manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Accountant (Cost/Manufacturing). This is a newly created position offering exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a global organization.

This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys partnering with operations, analyzing manufacturing costs, improving processes, and driving business decisions through financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and profitability trends

✅ Maintain and review standard costing methodologies

✅ Perform Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) analysis and reporting

✅ Analyze inventory valuation, physical inventory counts, and cycle counts

✅ Review and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy

✅ Support month-end close activities related to inventory and manufacturing operations

✅ Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements

✅ Partner with engineering, operations, logistics, and sales teams to provide meaningful financial insights

✅ Utilize SAP and Excel to develop reports and analyze operational performance

Qualifications

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

✔ 3-5+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment

✔ Experience with:

• Standard Costing
• Inventory Analysis
• COGS Analysis
• BOM Accuracy Reviews
• Manufacturing Costing

✔ Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis, reporting)

✔ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
