Tranham Partners is excited to be supporting a Top-Tier Middle-Market Private Credit platform based in New York as they look to expand their debt asset management team with an experience Senior Associate / Vice President to support the continued growth of the wider business.


While this is a debt asset management seat, we are open to exploring candidates with equity asset management experience. We will not be considering candidates coming from acquisitions & originations roles.


This position is to be based in Uniondale, New York


Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate asset management, with a strong focus on multifamily.
  • Proven hands-on workout and restructuring experience, including loan modifications, extensions, and enforcement scenarios.
  • Background within private credit, debt funds, banks, or insurance platforms, managing complex loan structures.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including cash flow modeling, covenant analysis, and downside underwriting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting complex situations to senior leadership and investment committees.


Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of multifamily real estate debt investments across performing, watchlist, and workout situations.
  • Lead and execute loan restructurings, modifications, extensions, and workouts, coordinating with legal and senior management.
  • Monitor collateral performance, sponsor behavior, and covenant compliance to proactively manage risk.
  • Partner with origination and credit teams to provide asset management input during underwriting and structuring.
  • Prepare portfolio reviews and materials for investment committees and senior management.
