Senior Corporate Accountant
Our client, a large privately held company, is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to support corporate accounting operations and financial reporting. This role will be instrumental in the close process, general ledger management, account reconciliations, and multi-entity reporting. The Senior Corporate Accountant will also partner with cross-functional teams, support audits, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Primary Duties:
- Lead key close activities and prepare journal entries
- Reconcile complex accounts and investigate variances
- Support consolidated reporting and intercompany accounting
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and supporting documentation
- Assist with audits, internal controls, and accounting policy compliance
- Partner with internal teams on reporting, analysis, and special projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge
- ERP experience and advanced Excel skills
- CPA preferred
