Senior eDiscovery Consultant
You'd own eDiscovery matters end to end for a global risk and investigations consultancy, from matter set-up through delivery to billing. The RelativityOne scope is unusually deep for a role at this level: aiR for Review and aiR for Privilege, Analytics, Integration Points, Case Dynamics and ARMs, alongside productions and privilege logs. Cross-border investigations are a regular part of the caseload.
The Essentials:
- $120,000 to $135,000 base salary
- San Francisco, Chicago, New York City or Washington DC, flexible hybrid, with weight on in-person time meeting clients
- Full-time, Senior Consultant level
- Occasional extended hours when project loads peak
Responsibilities of a Senior eDiscovery Consultant:
- Run multiple eDiscovery matters end to end, from set-up and requirements through delivery, and on to billing and invoicing with operations and finance
- Provide hands-on RelativityOne support across aiR for Review and aiR for Privilege, Analytics, Integration Points, custom workflows built from fields, choices, layouts, views and dashboards, batching, Event Handlers, scripts, persistent highlighting, Redact, RSMF, Dynamic Objects, Case Dynamics and ARMs
- Build and run complex searches, deliver search term reports, manage users, permissions, groups and object level security, and run productions, privilege logs, imaging and OCR
- Consult with clients on workflow and best practice, and design custom solutions matter by matter
- Work with the operations team on resourcing for processing, data loading and hosting against deadlines and priorities
- Keep job tracking, specifications and chain of custody records accurate and current, and manage expectations on both sides
Requirements of a Senior eDiscovery Consultant:
- 3+ years in eDiscovery litigation support and project management
- Strong hands-on RelativityOne experience, including setting up new matters to client specification and consulting on platform functionality
- Experience of cross-border investigations and the discovery issues that come with them
- Advanced Excel ability
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the range to explain the same thing to technical and non-technical audiences
- A bachelor's degree
- Relativity certifications, particularly Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) or higher
- Experience across all phases of litigation, from forensic preservation and processing through review and production
- Working experience with Agility Blue, ReadySuite, Fileread, DISCO, Nuix, Everlaw, Python or Power BI
