Senior Manager, S&OP & Supply Chain
Location: Emeryville Bay Area Reports to: CEO

About the Role
As we continue to expand, the Senior Manager, S&OP & Supply Chain will play a central role in connecting Petit Pot’s commercial plans with our manufacturing and supply capabilities.
This person will own our S&OP process and the supply plan for all raw materials and packaging, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to turn demand into a clear and executable mid-term plan.
The role will partner with the Operations Director on mid-term capacity and strategic procurement initiatives, lead our freight and logistics with three direct reports and build strong working relationships with external customers, distributors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
S&OP & Demand Planning
● Own and continuously improve Petit Pot’s monthly S&OP process.
● Build one aligned demand plan incorporating customer forecasts, new distribution, promotions, trade activity, marketing support and innovation.
● Partner closely with Sales and Marketing, as well as key customers and distributors, to challenge assumptions, improve forecast accuracy and translate external input into a reliable demand plan.
● Work with Finance to align the demand plan with the latest financial outlook.
● Bring clear visibility to changes in demand, risks, opportunities to facilitate key decisions.
Supply Planning
● Own the supply plan for all raw materials and packaging.
● Translate the S&OP demand plan into purchasing and replenishment requirements.
● Ensure materials are available to support production while maintaining the right inventory coverage.
● Manage supply assumptions including lead times, MOQs, safety stocks and purchasing parameters.
● Own the supply-chain relationship with external partners to keep plans aligned.
● Lead the monthly inventory reconciliation and align inventory positions with the latest S&OP plan.
Mid-Term Capacity Planning
● Partner with the Operations Director to reconcile demand with mid-term manufacturing capacity.
● Build a rolling demand-versus-capacity view to identify future needs and constraints.
● Provide Manufacturing with clear visibility into upcoming demand and supply requirements.
● Manufacturing owns short-term production planning, scheduling and day-to-day capacity management.
Procurement
● Partner with the Operations Director on strategic procurement initiatives
● Own strong day-to-day relationships with key external suppliers.
● Support the identification, evaluation and qualification of new suppliers.
● Participate in supplier negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, MOQs, lead time.
● Identify opportunities to improve cost, reliability, flexibility and supply continuity.
Freight & Logistics
● Lead a team of 3 to secure day to day execution.
● Oversee inbound freight for raw materials and packaging and outbound freight for finished goods.
● Ensure freight execution is aligned with the S&OP and supply plan.
● Drive improvements in freight cost, service and reliability.
● Build clear accountability and performance expectations across freight and logistics activities.
Systems & Performance
● Identify weak spots in processes and systems and implement improvements.
● Maintain accurate planning parameters and master data.
● Track key KPIs including forecast accuracy, OTIF, Inventory turns, supplier performance and freight cost.
● Build simple reporting that highlights risks, gaps and decisions requiring attention.
Qualifications & Experience
● 7–10+ years of experience in S&OP, demand planning, supply planning.
● Strong experience owning or playing a central role in an S&OP process.
● Experience in food manufacturing is highly preferred.
● Strong understanding of demand planning, supply planning and inventory management.
● Exposure to procurement, supplier management, freight and logistics.
● Previous people-management experience preferred.
● Strong analytical skills and comfort with Google Workspace, ERP/MRP systems and planning tools.
● Continuous improvement mindset, with experience improving pprocesses, systems and master data.
