Supply Chain Planning Manager
Sierra Executive Solutions Inc

Full job description
SES is partnering with a manufacturing organization looking for a planning leader who can come in, take ownership, and help make the entire operation run smarter.
Why You Will Be Excited About This Role
- If you enjoy fixing planning problems instead of simply managing schedules, this could be a great opportunity.
- You’ll have a real opportunity to influence how the plant plans production, manages materials, controls inventory, and executes against customer demand.
- The goal isn't to maintain the status quo — it’s to build a better, more predictable planning operation.
Why You Will Like Working Here
- You’ll be stepping into an established team where you can introduce better processes, structure, and planning discipline.
- Your work will be highly visible and directly connected to plant performance.
- You’ll collaborate with manufacturing and other business functions every day, so there’s plenty of opportunity to influence decisions beyond planning.
What You Will Be Working On
- Own the site's production planning and scheduling function.
- Help connect production, materials, inventory, and warehouse activities into one coordinated plan.
- Strengthen ERP/MRP planning logic, parameters, and data quality.
- Stay ahead of capacity constraints, shortages, bottlenecks, and inventory challenges.
- Improve schedule reliability and overall factory execution.
- Lead the team toward more consistent planning processes, KPIs, and best practices.
What Type of Person Will Be Successful
- Someone who has lived in a manufacturing environment and understands what happens when the plan doesn't match reality.
- A hands-on leader who can challenge the current process, solve problems, and bring people along.
- Someone who enjoys working across production, materials, inventory, and other functions rather than staying in a planning silo.
Location/Logistics: Site-based role in Delanco, NJ, supporting a complex manufacturing operation.
