Full job description
Senior Product Designer - San Francisco - Hybrid
Aspiron are proud to partner with a Sequoia backed security infra firm with an impressive founding team who are genuinely revolutionising the SIEM space. It's a really great opportunity to join a well-funded firm, under 50 headcount, and work in one of the hottest spaces on one of the hottest products on the market at the moment.
They're series A, and all founders come from household name firms and have worked together for over a decade on a range of impressive products. This product is set to save the industry billions by creating innovative solutions around data storage and querying. They've grown from single figures to 40+ over the last year alone and are looking for you to join them next.
Why now? - Transitioning into a more enterprise-driven market, the firm are now looking to upgrade their design systems and find an additional designer to support their existing founding designer and head of product to ensure that the product is well presented, readable, and continues generating them revenue and so a CISO can log in and immediately understand what's presented.
With this, whilst no two days will genuinely look the same, you can expect to:
- Work on Dashboards and data visualisation - working with large, messy data sources to make it reviewable and aesthetically beautiful that people genuinely enjoy using
- Adding, enhancing and customising features of the broader product array
- Work on feature workflows, UI systems and scalable design patterns
What skillset you'll need:
- 5+ years of design experience and a strong portfolio (not AI generated please) to boot
- Demonstrable dashboard and complex data visualisation experience
- An understanding of technical audiences/how they might expect to see things (think infra teams - SRE/DevOps etc)
- Expert in Figma
- Comfortable working in a fast paced start up - predominantly working in ambiguity and the attitude to pick things up rather than wait for tickets to come through
The core requirements:
- Can be in SF one day a week minimum
- Not in need of visa sponsorship / transfer
- A strong portfolio
What does the interview process look like:
- 30 minute culture interview
- Portfolio review with founding designer
- Conversation with Head of Product
- Onsite - product exercise, meeting the C-suite team
