- Support quality control and quality assurance programs on-site
- Assist with monthly owner billing and subcontractor pay applications
- Participate in and help lead OAC (owner-architect-contractor) meetings and produce meeting minutes
- Coordinate closeout documentation, including O&M manuals, warranties, and as-builts
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to project engineers and interns
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and support the project's overall safety program
- Liaise with local jurisdictions on permitting, inspections, and code compliance specific to Bay Area municipalities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 5-8 years of experience as a Project Engineer with a commercial general contractor, with a track record of increasing responsibility

- Strong working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project)
- Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and building codes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain within first 90 days)
Preferred
- Experience in life sciences/lab, healthcare, or podium/high-rise construction
- Familiarity with Bay Area AHJs (San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Peninsula municipalities)
- LEED accreditation
- Prior experience mentoring or managing junior staff
Compensation & Benefits
