Senior Project Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day technical and administrative aspects of large-scale healthcare construction projects. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and document control
• Coordinate with design teams, owners, and trade partners
• Support project scheduling, cost tracking, and procurement
• Lead portions of project execution and problem-solving in the field
• Ensure compliance with healthcare, OSHPD/HCAI, and safety standards
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
• Assist in preconstruction, constructability reviews, and buyout

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience in commercial construction (healthcare experience strongly preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Strong knowledge of healthcare construction processes and regulations
• Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Excel
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
