Senior System Administrator (MSP / Partial WFH)
Location: San Dimas, CA
Work Model: Partial FH
Base Salary: $115,000 to $130,000

We are a growing Managed Services Provider hiring a Senior System Administrator to support advanced infrastructure, Microsoft cloud, security, and project work across multiple client environments.
This is a strong fit for an experienced MSP engineer who wants more ownership, more technical variety, and a clear path to deeper systems, cloud, security, and infrastructure work.
You will act as a senior escalation resource while also contributing to projects involving Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Windows Server, networking, endpoint security, automation, and client environment improvements.
What You Will Work On
• Serve as a senior technical resource for escalated systems, cloud, network, endpoint, and security issues
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, and core client infrastructure
• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, Azure, Intune, and endpoint management environments
• Troubleshoot and improve firewalls, switches, VPNs, wireless, VLANs, routing, and general network connectivity
• Lead or assist with infrastructure projects including migrations, deployments, upgrades, onboarding, cloud improvements, and security initiatives
• Support endpoint security, backup, disaster recovery, patching, monitoring, and compliance related improvements
• Work with RMM, PSA, documentation, and automation tools to maintain strong service delivery standards
• Partner with service desk, project, and leadership teams to improve client environments and reduce recurring issues
• Communicate clearly with clients, document technical work accurately, and maintain strong ownership through resolution
What We Are Looking For
• 5+ years of IT support or systems administration experience
• Recent MSP experience supporting multiple client environments is required
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and Intune experience
• Experience with virtualization, backups, endpoint security, patching, and disaster recovery tools
• Solid networking knowledge across DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, switching, wireless, and routing
• Ability to troubleshoot advanced issues across systems, cloud, networking, endpoints, and security platforms
• Experience contributing to infrastructure projects, migrations, deployments, or client environment improvements
• Strong documentation, communication, ticketing, prioritization, and client service skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with technical teams in a fast moving MSP environment
Experience That Helps
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ 104, MS 102, MD 102, SC 300, or related credentials
• Network+, Security+, CCNA, or similar technical certifications
• Experience with ConnectWise, Autotask, Ninja, Datto, Atera, IT Glue, Hudu, or similar MSP tools
• Exposure to PowerShell, automation, AI enabled service delivery, or process improvement
• Experience mentoring junior technicians or acting as a technical escalation lead
