Role Description

The Senior Technical Program Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, and may require approximately 20% travel. This role leads complex, multi-disciplinary technology programs across cybersecurity, cloud, software development, and IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements. The Senior Technical Program Manager collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to plan program strategies, coordinate technical workflows, and ensure alignment across engineering, integration, testing, and product development efforts.


Day‑to‑day responsibilities include defining program scope and roadmaps, coordinating project plans, managing schedules and budgets, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks. The role also drives cross-team dependency mapping, aligns requirements and priorities, supports development and prototype transition planning, and identifies optimization or modernization opportunities across existing architectures and processes. Additional duties include developing program documentation, preparing and delivering briefings, maintaining progress tracking across technical workflows, supporting cross-organizational coordination, and assisting in resolving program risks and action items. The Senior Technical Program Manager works independently, may lead or mentor junior staff, and ensures strong governance, communication, and execution throughout the program lifecycle.


Required Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant technical program management experience

• At least two (2) years of experience working in a Special Access Program (SAP) environment within the last five (5) years

• Active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility

Must be willing to get a CI poly in the future if needed

• MA/MS/ME degree in a relevant field

• Strong program and project management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication

• Solid analytical skills for interpreting data, assessing trade-offs, and making informed decisions across complex technical programs

• Ability to gather requirements, prioritize, align roadmaps, and deliver value-focused outcomes

• Experience leading large-scale technical initiatives in areas such as cybersecurity, software development, cloud engineering, or IT

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

• Experience working within government, defense, or highly regulated industries is beneficial

• Knowledge of contract solicitation processes, including understanding technical requirements, evaluation criteria, and acquisition workflows.

• Familiarity with pricing strategy concepts such as level‑of‑effort estimation, cost modeling, and risk considerations.

• Understanding of proposal development practices, including technical writing, compliance mapping, and coordinated review cycles.




Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience working in IT or cloud-focused programs

• Familiarity with digital engineering practices and tools

• AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals or equivalent cloud certification

• PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum certification

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and modern development workflows


Target salary range $150,000 - $230,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Employees may be eligible for annual bonuses based on overall company performance, with bonus amounts determined annually.
