Position: SFDC BA / Product manager
Palo Alto, CA (3days/week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Salesforce project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with Salesforce admins, developers, architects, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including resource allocation, budgets, risks, and issue tracking.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and ensure adherence to project methodology.
- Manage change requests, ensuring impact analysis and approvals are properly handled.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices, governance, and security standards.
- Provide regular status updates and executive-level reporting on project progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Drive user adoption by supporting training, change management, and stakeholder communications.
- Act as the escalation point for project-related issues and work to resolve them quickly.
- Support post-go-live hypercare, triage production defects, and manage enhancement requests within a structured release
- management cycle."
- Deep functional understanding of mid-term contract amendments, including add-ons, upsells, downgrades, early renewals,
- cancellations, and co-terming logic
- Partner with Sales Ops, Customer Success, and Finance to define key SaaS/recurring revenue metrics (e.g., ARR/MRR,
- Churn, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), and Renewal Rates) and reflect them in system reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years managing Salesforce projects.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CPQ, etc.).
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies; Scrum Master or PMP certification is a plus.
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Project Manager/Consultant credentials preferred).
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Asana, or MS Project for project tracking.
- Familiarity with Salesforce integration tools ( Netsuite).
- Exposure to release management and DevOps tools (Copado).
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and contracts.
