Position Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Manager is responsible for leading daily shipping, receiving, inventory, picking, fulfillment, and pack-out activities to ensure product moves accurately and on time from inventory through final carton shipment. This role manages the flow of materials and finished goods, maintains inventory accuracy in Epicor, and ensures customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped in a timely and efficient manner.



Key Responsibilitie

  • sManage all shipping and receiving operations, including inbound receipts, outbound shipments, pick/pack/ship activity, and final pack-out
  • .Oversee inventory transactions and material movement in Epicor to maintain accurate inventory records and order status
  • .Ensure customer orders are picked, fulfilled, packed, and shipped on time to meet customer and company delivery requirements
  • .Coordinate product movement from stock, production, staging, packing, and final carton shipment
  • .Monitor shipping schedules, priorities, and workflow to support on-time delivery performance
  • .Supervise the receiving process for incoming raw materials, components, and outside services, including proper documentation and system entry
  • .Lead and support cycle count, inventory control, and location accuracy efforts
  • .Work closely with production, customer service, quality, and planning to resolve shipment issues, shortages, and material flow problems
  • .Ensure packing slips, labels, cartons, and shipment documentation are accurate and complete
  • .Manage freight coordination, carrier communication, and shipment scheduling as needed
  • .Drive organization, cleanliness, and safety within shipping, receiving, warehouse, and staging areas
  • .Train, direct, and develop shipping and receiving personnel to standard work and performance expectations
  • .Track and improve department performance related to inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, on-time shipping, and labor efficiency
  • .Support continuous improvement efforts in warehouse flow, packing methods, transaction accuracy, and overall material handling

Qualificatio

  • nsHigh school diploma or GED required; associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferre
  • d.3+ years of leadership experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or materials management in a manufacturing environmen
  • t.Experience using ERP systems; Epicor experience strongly preferre
  • d.Strong knowledge of inventory control, picking, fulfillment, pack-out, shipping documentation, and material flo
  • w.Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmen
  • t.Strong problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skill
  • s.Experience with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and transaction accurac
  • y.Forklift experience and knowledge of warehouse safety practices preferre
