Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Title: Shipping & Receiving/Warehouse Clerk

Location: Somerville, NJ, On-Site

Compensation: $20–21/hr.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary (4–6 weeks with potential for extension)

Our client is seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving/Warehouse Clerk to support daily warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and general facility maintenance. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and a respectful, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Pack and ship products and log/distribute incoming packages.
• Receive vendor transfers and organize/stock materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and records.
• Monitor and restock café and facility supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse; sweep and remove garbage daily.
• Assist the Test Lab with stocking and cleaning as requested.
• Secure the building at the end of the day and follow all safety procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately track inventory and complete basic documentation.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Respectful and professional attitude is required.
