Role Description The Site Superintendent is a full-time, hybrid role serving all of NJ, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks such as documentation and planning. This role oversees daily on-site construction activities for healthcare and dental facilities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements. The Site Superintendent coordinates subcontractors and suppliers, manages inspections, tracks progress, and proactively resolves issues that could impact timelines or quality. The role involves maintaining accurate project documentation, reporting status to project managers and clients, and enforcing site safety protocols and compliance standards. The Site Superintendent also collaborates with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to support efficient workflows, minimize disruption to ongoing medical operations, and uphold high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in on-site construction supervision, scheduling, and coordination of subcontractors and trades.
• Experience managing multiple projects, with knowledge of healthcare-specific codes and regulatory requirements.
• Strong abilities in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Proficiency in project documentation, reporting, and use of construction management software or digital tools.
• Solid understanding of jobsite safety practices, OSHA standards, and risk mitigation in active healthcare environments.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and internal teams.
• Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills in fast-paced construction settings.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Previous experience as a Site Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or similar field leadership role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or an associate/bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to and between job sites as needed throughout NJ
