We are currently supporting a major construction project in Kankakee, IL seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Supervisor to lead field coordination and execution. This is a hands-on role for a construction professional with strong electrical construction experience who can effectively manage subcontractors, coordinate field activities, and maintain safety, quality, and schedule objectives.

The Electrical Construction Supervisor will work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, electrical subcontractors, trade partners, engineers, and other project stakeholders throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day electrical construction activities and field coordination

• Supervise and coordinate electrical subcontractors, trade workers, and suppliers

• Monitor field progress and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules

• Coordinate electrical installation activities across multiple project disciplines

• Ensure electrical work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, RFIs, change documents, and construction plans

• Conduct field observations and inspections to ensure installation quality

• Coordinate subcontractor manpower, material deliveries, and scheduled work activities

• Participate in subcontractor, owner, and project coordination meetings

• Maintain daily construction reports and communicate progress, issues, and recommendations to the project team

• Support Project and Construction Managers with schedule updates, cost tracking, quantities, and overall project execution

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of large-scale construction experience

• Strong electrical construction / electrical systems experience

• Proven experience supervising electrical subcontractors and trade partners

• OSHA 30 required

• Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, and construction documentation

• High School Diploma/GED required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

Preferred:

• Semiconductor or advanced manufacturing construction experience

• Experience with BIM, BIM 360, or BIM Field

• Experience working on complex, large-scale industrial construction projects

• Experience coordinating electrical installations across multiple disciplines
