Special Education Resource Teacher (RSP) | Emeryville, CA


Supplemental Health Care is seeking a dedicated Special Education Resource Teacher (RSP) to join a supportive school district in Emeryville, California. This opportunity is based at a single elementary school site serving students in grades 1-5 with a caseload of up to 28 students.

This assignment is expected to run through the December holiday break, with the opportunity to transition into a middle school Resource Specialist position within the district beginning in January.


Position Details

  • Resource Specialist Program (RSP) Teacher
  • Grades 1-5; caseload of up to 28 students
  • Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to support student success
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and services
  • Provide specialized academic instruction and accommodations


Qualifications

  • Valid California Special Education Credential required
  • Experience working in an elementary school setting required
  • Knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and implementation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills


Compensation

Local Pay Range:

$53.00 - $57.40 per hour

Travel Compensation:

$2,300 - $2,545 gross weekly pay

Travel packages include tax-free housing and meals stipends for eligible candidates.
