Supply Chain Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory & Supply Order Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply portal ordering, manual order entry, order tracking, and report writing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing, tracking, and reporting of inventory and sales data, as well as troubleshooting discrepancies.

Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Enter forecasted orders, purchase orders, and any adjustments accurately and on time.
• Determine pallet weights and truck capacities for optimal logistics planning.
• Maintain accurate records, including up-to-date variance reports for:
• Items ordered vs. items received
• Forecasted vs. sales
• Ending inventory levels vs. targets
• Verify supplier order confirmations and delivery dates.
• Track and trace inbound orders to ensure appointment times are maintained and trucks are received on schedule.
• Maintain and troubleshoot supplier portals, resolving issues promptly.
• Utilize all relevant computer applications effectively, ensuring updates with vital information (such as anomalies, item numbers, etc.).
• Research and analyze discrepancies in inventory and sales data, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Write clear, detailed reports for management as required.
• Follow up on appointments and delivery schedules to maintain strong supplier relationships.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excel experience with ability to utilize formulas such as v-lookups, x-lookups.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management.
• Proven experience with supply portal ordering and order tracking
• Ability to work independently
• Strong business mathematical skills
• Proven ability to analyze large pools of data accurately
• Understanding of planning system ( Blue Yonder, SAP, or similar).
