Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition & Learning Development role is responsible for attracting, recruiting, and onboarding top talent while supporting employee growth through learning and development initiatives. This role partners with business leaders and HR teams to ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains a high-performing workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs, hiring priorities, and organizational growth plans.
- Develop recruitment strategies that improve candidate quality, diversity, and time-to-fill.
- Monitor and improve candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Manage career progression programs and internal mobility initiatives.
- Create and deliver leadership development, professional development, and technical training curricula.
- Manage new hire onboarding to ensure positive employee experience and successful integration.
- Build talent pipelines for current and future workforce needs, including succession planning and emerging leader development.
- Champion organizational culture throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Analyze recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, agency utilization, offer acceptance rates, and turnover trends.
- Measure training effectiveness and employee learning outcomes using qualitative and quantitative data.
- Establish relationships with external recruiting partners, educational institutions, and professional organizations.
- Manage recruitment agency relationships and optimize agency spending.
- Utilize workforce analytics to identify hiring trends, recruitment challenges, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in talent acquisition, learning and development, or human resources.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions.
- Experience coordinating and facilitating onboarding and employee training programs.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, interviewing techniques, and recruitment best practices.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and learning management systems (LMS) preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to build relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and employees while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience utilizing recruiting and training metrics to support continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or ATD certification.
- Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, life sciences, or CDMO environments.
- Experience designing or facilitating leadership development and technical training programs.
- Experience with instructional design, e-learning platforms, or Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience supporting workforce planning, career development, succession planning, or employer branding initiatives.
- Experience building relationships with colleges, universities, staffing agencies, and professional organizations.
Work Environment
- Full-time, onsite position based in Princeton, New Jersey.
- Primarily performed in a professional office environment.
- Occasional access to laboratories, manufacturing, or warehouse areas may be required in compliance with company safety, PPE and GMP requirements.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use; occasional standing, and walking.
