Job Title: Project Manager - Talent Acquisition

Location: New York, NY | On-site

Department: Human Resource – Talent Acquisition

Duration: 3+ Months (Possible extensions or Full-time Conversions)

Schedule: Days | Mon - Fri


Pay Range: $66 to $70/hr. on W2


Job Summary:

The Project Manager will work under the supervision of the Chief Talent Acquisition Officer (CTAO) and/or designee to plan, execute, and complete Talent Acquisition projects on time and within budget. The role will coordinate recruitment initiatives, manage stakeholders, support recruitment marketing, monitor budgets and project data, and help develop systemwide strategies to address critical vacancies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Communicate project status, progress, barriers, and updates to stakeholders, peers, directors, and executive leadership.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand staffing needs and vacancies and establish recruitment goals.
  • Coordinate communication around urgent and critical staffing needs.
  • Partner with the Central Office Marketing Team on targeted recruitment campaigns.
  • Ensure H+H branding is maintained across recruitment flyers, advertisements, brochures, social media, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor recruitment-related funding, expenses, budgets, and invoices.
  • Manage relationships with department heads, committees, and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with local HR teams to track progress in reducing critical vacancies.
  • Participate in job fairs, recruitment activities, vacancy initiatives, and onboarding activities.
  • Generate, utilize, and collect HCM report data to support Talent Acquisition strategy.
  • Track the recruitment lifecycle of hard-to-recruit positions, including posted, selected, onboarded, and hired stages.
  • Prepare presentations and attend facility site visits.
  • Use technology and tracking/relationship-management systems to monitor and maintain projects.


Required Qualifications:

  • 4–5 years of experience in HR, healthcare, project management, or a related field.
  • Experience with large-scale project management and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of recruitment marketing.
  • Demonstrated data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree preferred in HR, MPA, MPH, MBA, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Effective collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
