Tax Manager

Our client, SKC is seeking a hands-on Tax Manager who can see the entire financial picture—not only the tax return. This person will manage relationships with small-business and entrepreneurial clients, generally ranging from approximately $10M to $15 M in annual revenue, and guide them through year-round accounting, tax planning, projections, compliance, and business decisions.

For smaller clients, the work may include reviewing bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and QuickBooks Online activity. For larger clients, the focus shifts toward higher-level analysis, planning, and advisory support. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable reviewing financial statements, discussing tax strategy with an owner, coaching a team member, and making sure the details are right.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
• 8+ years' of experience of professional tax experience
• CPA
• QBO experience
• Strong communication and analytical skills
