Location: Remote, USA - must be located near a major airport
Territory: United States, Canada, with occasional travel to Latin America
Bring advanced Micro-CT technology to researchers, engineers, and innovators solving complex scientific and industrial challenges. Our client is seeking a Micro-CT subject-matter expert with a strong commercial mindset who can identify opportunities, engage technical customers, and turn complex application needs into successful capital-equipment sales.
This is not simply an applications or demonstration role. The successful candidate will serve as the Micro-CT sales specialist for the Americas, combining deep technical credibility with the drive to develop opportunities and move customers from initial interest through evaluation, funding justification, and purchase.

- Identify, qualify, and develop new Micro-CT opportunities and maintain an active sales pipeline
- Engage scientists, engineers, principal investigators, and technical decision-makers to understand applications and business needs
- Translate customer requirements into compelling Micro-CT solutions and value propositions
- Coordinate samples, technical evaluations, demonstrations, and global applications resources
- Help customers build technical justification, internal support, and funding for capital-equipment purchases
- Partner with regional sales managers to advance qualified opportunities through the sales process
- Develop relationships with key opinion leaders and strategic accounts
- Present at customer meetings, conferences, workshops, and technical events
- Monitor competitors and provide market intelligence to global product leadership
- Travel regularly throughout the Americas to develop and advance customer opportunities
- Hands-on, applications, or sales experience with Micro-CT / X-ray computed tomography technology
- Strong understanding of Micro-CT principles and the ability to quickly learn a specialized product portfolio
- Experience may come from a Micro-CT manufacturer, laboratory, university, research organization, medical imaging environment, or industrial applications setting
- Commercially driven and comfortable advancing technical discussions toward funded purchasing decisions
- Strong business-development instincts; able to create opportunities rather than simply support existing ones
- Confident presenting and communicating with both highly experienced technical users and customers new to Micro-CT
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering, Materials Science, Natural Sciences, or related discipline required; advanced degree preferred
- Experience with scientific instrumentation or capital equipment strongly preferred
- Willing and able to travel extensively throughout the territory
- Must live within convenient access of a major U.S. airport
