Position Overview
Our client is a leading mechanical contractor seeking experienced mechanical construction professionals at all levels, from Assistant Project Manager through Project Executive.
We are open to candidates with different levels of experience and will align the title, scope of responsibility, compensation, and career path with the individual's background.
This is a full-time traveling opportunity for mechanical construction professionals who want exposure to large, complex HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical projects across the country while continuing to grow their careers.
This is a TRUE Travel Opportunity
Candidates should be comfortable traveling full-time and working on projects nationwide.
The company provides a substantial travel package designed to make traveling financially attractive, including:
- $90,000–$200,000 Base Salary
- Up to $65,000 Travel Per Diem
- $1,000/month Car Allowance

Potential Roles
Depending on experience, candidates may be considered for:
- Assistant Project Manager (APM)
- Project Manager (PM)

Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary based on level and experience but may include:
- Manage mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage project financial performance, including cost control, billing, forecasting, and change orders.
- Coordinate with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements.
- Develop project execution strategies and ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage procurement, subcontractor coordination, and material requirements.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular project updates to clients and leadership.
- Build and maintain strong customer and client relationships.
- Support estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed.
- Drive accountability across project teams.
- Mentor and develop Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Managers as appropriate.
- Support business development, client development, and securing repeat work.
Leadership Responsibilities
For more senior-level candidates, responsibilities may expand to include:
- Overseeing multiple large-scale mechanical projects.
- Leading and mentoring Project Managers and APMs.
- Providing operational oversight across a project portfolio.
- Managing overall financial performance and profitability.
- Developing project execution and operational strategies.
- Supporting preconstruction and estimating teams.
- Managing key client and GC relationships.
- Identifying new opportunities and supporting business development.
- Establishing best practices and improving project delivery processes.
- Developing future leaders within the organization.
