Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join their team and lead major commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects throughout the country.

This is a full-time traveling opportunity for a proven mechanical construction professional who is comfortable taking ownership of large, complex projects and working closely with field leadership, subcontractors, owners, engineers, and project teams.


What You'll Do

  • Lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through completion
  • Manage $15M+ mechanical scopes, including HVAC, piping, and plumbing
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and overall project performance
  • Coordinate closely with Superintendents, owners, engineers, vendors, and trade partners
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project schedules
  • Identify and resolve design, coordination, procurement, and constructability issues
  • Monitor project financials, forecasting, schedule milestones, and overall execution
  • Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with project stakeholders
  • Partner with field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
  • Support successful project closeout and client turnover


What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of mechanical construction project management experience
  • Proven experience managing large commercial and industrial mechanical projects
  • Experience managing $15M+ mechanical scopes
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, and/or plumbing construction
  • Experience with data centers, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, government, entertainment facilities, or other complex projects strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, and construction processes
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Must be open to full-time travel


Compensation

$140,000–$170,000 base salary, depending on experience.
