Join a dynamic leader in the construction industry, delivering complex commercial projects across sectors such as retail, office, healthcare, and fuel stations. This role offers the chance to lead nationwide, fast‑paced ground‑up builds, driving safety, quality, and schedule excellence while traveling to diverse sites.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all on‑site construction activities, ensuring safety, schedule, quality, and budget goals are met.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and client representatives to resolve conflicts and align with project specifications and codes.
- Oversee subcontractors to ensure scopes are understood and executed properly.
- Maintain accurate daily job reports, purchase orders, site photos, and time logs.
- Facilitate weekly safety meetings and participate in incident investigations when necessary.
- Conduct site housekeeping, equipment oversight, and tool management.
- Lead project close‑out efforts, including punch list completion, red‑line drawings, and warranty submissions.
- Mentor field staff including Project Engineers, Foremen, and Carpenters.
Must-Have Skills:
- 2+ years experience in commercial ground‑up construction.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding construction methods across Divisions 1–16.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Ability to perform physical labor on‑site (lift/carry up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs, stand/walk for long periods).
- Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with Project Managers, clients, and subcontractors.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in fuel/petroleum station or restaurant construction.
- Background in retail, office building, or healthcare project delivery.
- Familiarity with nationwide travel logistics and scheduling.
