Traveling Superintendent Job Description

Must be able to travel based on project

Responsibilities:

• Overall field operations and sub-contractor management
• Develop and manage the project schedule with project manager
• Develop and update look ahead schedule
• Coordinate subcontracts, drawings and specification
• Communicate with Customer, Architect, subcontractors and staff
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Enforce company safety program, OSHA operating standards and laws
• Manage the quality control processes throughout the project schedule
• Handle and evaluate safety risks on the job site.
• Process and Handle Stressful Deadlines Professionally

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of commercial construction, site supervision experience
• Thorough and quick-thinking skills
• Significant Experience in ground-up and renovation experience
• Microsoft Project experience preferred, but not required
• Outlook, Word and Excel skills
• Ability to lift/transport up to 50 pounds
• Driver’s License
• Ability to walk on uneven ground construction site
