Atrium is seeking on behalf of our client a Treasury Manager based in New York, NY.

Location: Bronx, NY

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $140,000-$150,000


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to oversee the company’s treasury operations, cash management activities, and banking relationships. This role is critical in ensuring optimal liquidity, managing debt and credit facilities, and supporting financing initiatives. The Treasury Manager will collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive effective working capital strategies and financial performance.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.


Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash positioning and monitor company-wide liquidity to ensure operational needs are met.
  • Develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts for strategic planning.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for banking partners and maintain strong financial institution relationships.
  • Oversee debt obligations, revolving credit facilities, and ensure covenant compliance.
  • Implement and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Prepare treasury reports, liquidity analyses, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.

Required Experience/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in treasury, cash management, or corporate finance.
  • Strong understanding of cash forecasting, liquidity management, and treasury operations.
  • Proven experience managing banking relationships and credit facilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), CPA, MBA, or similar credential.
  • Experience in corporate environments such as consumer products, retail, distribution, or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of financing transactions and lender relationship management.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with banks and financial partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline required.
  • Advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CTP, CPA) preferred.
  • Continuing education in treasury or financial management is a plus.
