About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Safety Coordinator to support and maintain a safe, compliant, and productive warehouse/distribution center environment. This position will be responsible for conducting safety inspections, identifying and correcting workplace hazards, investigating incidents, training employees on safety procedures, and ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on safety experience in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, logistics, or similar industrial environment and is comfortable working directly with warehouse employees and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular warehouse safety inspections.
• Identify and correct safety hazards.
• Investigate accidents, injuries, and near misses.
• Ensure employees properly use PPE and follow safety rules.
• Train employees on warehouse safety procedures.
• Conduct safety orientations and toolbox talks.
• Maintain accident, injury, and incident records.
• Support forklift safety and certification programs.
• Recommend corrective actions after safety incidents.
• Monitor daily warehouse operations for safety compliance.
• Communicate safety policies clearly in both English and Spanish.

Requirements:

• Bilingual Spanish/English – Required
• 3+ years of safety experience preferred.
• Warehouse or distribution center safety experience required.
• Experience conducting safety inspections.
• Experience investigating accidents and incidents.
• Experience with PPE and safety training.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Ability to work on the warehouse floor and interact with employees.

Preferred:

• OSHA 10/30 or other safety certification.
• Forklift safety/trainer experience.
• Experience with safety reports and compliance documentation.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Safety or a related field.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse to conduct inspections, training, and safety checks.
