Site Safety Coordinator

Our client a 70 year old mechanical constrution firm is hiring a Site Safety Coordinator to support active construction projects in San Jose, CA.

This is a full-time opportunity that requires to be onsite.

Pays between $90K-100K

This is a great opportunity for a safety professional who is proactive, dependable, and passionate about creating a strong safety culture in the field. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working independently and spending their day on active construction sites.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of construction safety experience preferred; a degree in Safety or a related field may also be considered
• OSHA 30 certification required
• First Aid/CPR certification required
• OSHA 500, STS-C, and/or CHST certification highly desired
• Strong passion for construction safety and field operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-driven, reliable, and able to manage responsibilities without daily direction
• Comfortable working in active construction environments, including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, crouching, and navigating job sites
• Valid California driver’s license with the ability to maintain a clean and current license
