Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, and external audit coordination within a manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a lean organization, taking ownership, solving problems, and ensuring accurate and timely financial information. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in maintaining strong accounting practices and internal controls while supporting the business with reliable financial reporting and analysis.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, and resourceful, with the ability to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines in an environment where processes may be manual and flexibility is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and other accounting documentation.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and explain significant variances.
- Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Lead the annual external audit process, including preparation of audit schedules, supporting documentation, and deliverables.
- Maintain, strengthen, and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Support accounting activities related to inventory, fixed assets, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Assist with ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to provide timely financial information and support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of public accounting experience, with audit experience strongly preferred.
- Strong experience with financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end close.
- Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating an annual external audit.
- CPA preferred.
- SAP or other ERP system experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $115,000–$135,000 annually, plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
Hybrid Schedule with two days remote
