Clinical Business Analyst
Location: New York, NY 10016
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Contract: 8-week contract, with potential for extension in additional 8-week periods
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $50–$58/hour on W-2
Job Summary
We are seeking a Clinical Business Analyst with strong analytical, budgeting, and reporting skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with grant applications, budget management, PeopleSoft, and advanced Excel reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the grant application process and related documentation.
- Create, analyze, track, and modify budgets and expenses.
- Prepare financial and business reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Work with PeopleSoft HR and Procurement systems.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial activities.
- Support audits and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Analyze business and financial data and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Assist with accounting, budgeting, and business analysis activities as needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Science, Arts, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, or business analysis experience preferred.
- Experience with the grant application process.
- Strong knowledge of budget creation, analysis, expense tracking, and modifications.
- Experience with PeopleSoft HR and Procurement.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel reporting.
- Exposure to audits and grant-related financial processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- SQL knowledge is preferred but not required.
