Responsibilities:
- Manage a generalist commercial lines book of business, including accounts with premiums of up to $500,000.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for commercial clients, providing responsive and knowledgeable service.
- Coordinate policy servicing, renewals, endorsements, certificates, and other account activity.
- Review client coverage needs and support the development of appropriate insurance solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal agency partners.
- Monitor account details, documentation, and deadlines to ensure accurate and timely service.
- Support retention and growth by identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships and coverage programs.
Must-Have Skills:
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Experience managing a generalist commercial lines book of business.
- Demonstrated experience handling large commercial accounts with premiums of up to $500,000.
- Strong understanding of commercial property and casualty insurance products and processes.
- Excellent client service, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working in an independent insurance agency environment.
- Knowledge of commercial account renewal and marketing processes.
- Strong carrier relationship management skills.
- Proficiency with agency management systems and standard office technology.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
