📍 Location: Chicago, IL

🏢 Work Arrangement: Hybrid

💰 Salary Range: $75,000-115,000

A well-established global consulting organization is seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist to join its team in downtown Chicago.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented contract professional with strong experience drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and managing a wide range of agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, engineering contracts, joint venture agreements, and construction contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and redline a variety of contract documents
• Negotiate terms and conditions in alignment with company policies and risk strategies
• Assess contractual and business risk and provide recommendations for mitigation
• Partner closely with executive leadership on contract matters
• Maintain professional client relationships while representing the organization’s core values
• Support special projects and other contract-related initiatives as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, engineering, law, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating, analyzing, and interpreting contracts
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and contract management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong judgment, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed
