The Opportunity

A well-established, multi-national manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced VP Controller to lead global accounting operations and financial reporting. Based in Nassau County, this role partners directly with the CFO to drive financial strategy across a large, complex global business with manufacturing operations spanning multiple international sites.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own global monthly and quarterly financial reporting and compliance across all corporate and business entities, partnering with the CFO on long-term financial strategy and planning.
• Serve as the company's primary point of contact for external auditors, direct annual financial and statutory reporting, and oversee international tax filing compliance across all entities.
• Partner with manufacturing plant leadership to align cost accounting, inventory valuation, and capital investment decisions with broader business unit strategy.
• Lead and develop a global financial reporting team while spearheading ERP system initiatives, including data migration and financial controls design.

Who You Are

• 20+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, including at least 10 years in senior finance roles within a multi-national organization.
• CPA or MBA required.
• Strong background in manufacturing finance, with direct knowledge of production, inventory management, and cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience consolidating multi-currency financials and working across ERP systems at global scale, SAP experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of presenting to senior executives and Boards.
