Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Data Privacy Associate to join its Emerging Data Privacy Trends practice in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in litigation involving data privacy class actions and appellate matters.

Duties

• Defend employers and technology enterprises in data privacy class actions.
• Handle litigation related to data breaches, session replay, and wiretapping claims.
• Engage in pixel tracking litigation and right of publicity claims.
• Work on emerging privacy-related disputes in federal and state courts.

Requirements

• Two to five years of law firm litigation experience.
• Familiarity with BIPA, CIPA, and other privacy statutes.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent legal research and analytical abilities.
• Interest in data privacy law.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of Illinois.

Skills

• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable handling complex and evolving privacy-related disputes.
