Data Privacy Litigation Associate (2-5 yrs) – Am Law 100 Firm

About the Position:

We are working with an Am Law 100 firm that has an active need for a data privacy attorney to join their growing practice as an associate in Chicago. The practice group is a leader in biometric privacy law and handles a broad range of privacy litigation matters in an increasingly complex landscape.

Responsibilities:

· Handle high-stakes privacy litigation involving biometric data, website tracking, AI, and data breach incidents

· Draft pleadings and dispositive motions, as well as written discovery

· Monitor privacy litigation trends and advise clients on proactive strategies to manage exposure before claims arise

Required Qualifications:

· 2-5 years of data privacy litigation experience

· Experience litigating on behalf of businesses and tech companies in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration

· Excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills

· Strong academic credentials

Location:

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $210,000 - $245,000.
