Purpose of the Job

We’re looking for a highly connected, commercially driven Business Development Director to join our Publisher Partnerships team and accelerate Doceree’s growth across the US healthcare publishing ecosystem.

You’ll build relationships with senior leaders at healthcare endemic publishers, helping them unlock new revenue and audience opportunities through Doceree’s publisher solutions, including AdManager and Publisher AI Suite.

This is a hunter role for someone who understands the evolving healthcare media landscape, has an established publisher network, and can turn executive relationships into strategic, long-term partnerships. You’ll own the full BD cycle - from opening doors and developing opportunities to solution positioning, negotiation, and close.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building relationships at the C-suite level, navigating complex commercial conversations, and rolling up their sleeves to get deals done.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to engage and close new partners with a primary focus on Healthcare Endemic Publications
  • Own and maintain all aspects of sales pipeline from initial contact, solution demonstration, closing negotiations, signature, and handoff to account teams
  • Collaborate cross functionally with operations, leadership, product management, support, and other Doceree business units to ensure the successful closing of new partnership opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the healthcare marketplace, Health IT providers, marketing technology, advertising, and supply monetization
  • Contribute to market and competitive knowledgebase to develop business strategies that are effective in generating revenue
  • Participate in QBR process with engaged partners to support operations and account teams
  • Report all activity in CRM and other tools as directed by management, following business rules and best practices
  • Conduct all activities in a business-like manner with the highest level of professionalism



Qualifications - Experience, Skills & Education

  • 5+ years in a quota-carrying business development or partner engagement role focused on new business
  • Experience in the healthcare vertical specifically focused on working with or selling to Healthcare Publishers in the US market
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with experience presenting to C-suite and other executive roles
  • Track record of creative solution selling and problem solving in the healthcare vertical with focus on Healthcare Endemic Publications
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with clients
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A demonstrable record of exceeding revenue goals and driving new business
  • Experience with and deep understanding of Healthcare Endemic Publications buying processes
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, prospecting tools (LinkedIn & Zoominfo, etc)
