Director of Accounting

Our client is a rapidly growing, privately held global travel and technology company. They are looking for a Head of Accounting for their highly successful North America operations. Highlights below:

• Lead and develop a high performing accounting organization of approximately 30 professionals across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
• Ownership of the monthly close process, financial reporting, technical accounting, audit, and internal controls. Improve processes, systems and finance infrastructure as the business scales. Significant interaction and exposure with global headquarters leadership team.
• Ideal candidates will be accomplished accounting leaders with a track record of automating processes that will drive more efficient and effective results. Earlier career public accounting experience preferred.
• This role will be remote, however, candidates will ideally be located within or near Fairfield County, CT.
