Entertainment industry - Senior Accountant

One of our entertainment clients is looking for someone with a public accounting background to join their team as a Senior Accountant. This is not your typical accounting role though! You will oversee and optimize cash flow, develop budgets and forecasts, and produce other ad hoc financial analyses for the company's clients which include artists, musicians, and other successful professionals in the entertainment industry.

*Must live in the greater Los Angeles area for occasional meetings, but the role is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage detailed budgets and financial forecasts tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Oversee and optimize cash flow to ensure that clients’ liquidity needs are met while maximizing investment opportunities.
• Work closely with a small, experienced team of industry experts to support ongoing projects and strategic initiatives.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, offering strategic analyses and financial advice aligned with their goals.
• Play an integral role in the company’s rapid growth and the evolution of its business model, adapting to new challenges and opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited university.
• 2+ years of accounting or finance experience; minimum of 2 years in external audit or tax is required
• Strong communication and ability to explain complex ideas.
• Proficient in Excel and general accounting software.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive self-starter.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
