Finance Manager (Real Estate) - $150K + Bonus

Our real estate client located in New York City is looking to add a Finance Manager to their team ASAP. In this role, you will be considered a business partner, your contributions will make a difference and have an impact on new business growth opportunities!

Responsibilities:

• Budgets, forecasts and prepares, or validates, invoicing for intercompany outbound and inbound charges for labor, services and other operating expenses.
• Evaluate business results and serve as the expert to the business client
• Compile monthly finance packs providing commentary on Market performance against budget and business KPI’s.
• Develop and maintain P&Ls and analysis of distributor profitability by brand
• Responsible for budget variance of financial results
• Partner with the business to develop models and reports.
• Assess the impact of strategic financial decisions and present recommendations to leadership.
• Identify and implement process improvements and take corrective actions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Review liquidity/cash position to drive cash flow optimization.
• Accountable for making decisions and recommendations
• Present and communicate to all levels of the business.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience in budgeting, planning, forecasting
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced Excel (financial modeling)
• A professional certification, preferably CPA or MBA.
• Experience in the commercial real estate sector
